Howdy Steemit!
I am "Amishjim", born a son of Appalachia and living this life in Georgia. I have been a film maker for over 20 years. As well as making art in different forms, mostly photography and stencil art. For over 25 years I played harmonica, bongos, cigar box guitar and beat on other random objects in a bluegrass band called Frum The Hills. I miss this band. They still play up around Baltimore. I'm just too far away.

Almost a decade ago, I had a small computer lab set up in my living room. I had all kinds of random servers set up, searched the skies with SETI and mined a cryptocurrency called bitcoin. I mined about 42 altogether, stored in a wallet, on a hard drive that died. I never thought much about it until recently, when bitcoin flew to almost 20 grand. I signed up for Steemit a while ago and never played with it. SO here I am, now. I'm hoping the cryptocurrency aspect of it will entice me to write more. That's the real payoff for me. I need to write!
