"But we know that God's judgment against those who practice such things is according to the truth."

We know that God's judgment is according to truth, that is, according to reality. There are so many people, even those who profess to be Christians these days, who live in an imaginary world. They do not want to hear the truth of the gospel.

There are many pious, holy people who say: "Do you know? I would very much like to study the Bible, I like to have a Bible study." And then, when they begin to study the Word of God, they realize that it is not what they thought. They experience what happened to John in the incident reported in the book of Revelation. When he began to see God's judgment, at first it was something moving, exciting, it was sweet in his mouth. But, when he ate the little book, it caused him indigestion. It was bitter in his stomach. And there are many believers in our day, who say they want to do Bible studies, but they don't want to face reality. They don't even want to hear the truth. Let us remember the warning of what we have just read: "But we know that God's judgment against those who practice such things is according to the truth."

This was one of those great principles. Now, we insist, these are the principles of judgment and are not the principles of salvation. Man has the inherent knowledge that he must be judged by a greater power. And God's next judgment is something that every person without Christ comes to deny, or fear. The Scriptures are clear on the subject of judgment. The apostle Paul, in the book of the Acts of the Apostles, chapter 17, verse 31, told the Athenians: "Because he has established a day in which he will judge the world with justice, by that man whom he appointed, accrediting him before all having raised him from the dead. " Paul had debated with Felix about justice, self-control and the coming judgment. Felix was very scared of this, but he didn't want to hear another sermon. The judgment of God is in contrast to the judgment of man. Man has no knowledge of all the facts, and his judgment is partial and full of prejudices. God's judgment, on the other hand, contemplates all the facts. He knows the real state of the human being, he knows him exactly as he is.

God said in the book of Daniel, chapter 5, verse 27, that we are weighed in balance, and that is the Word of God for those educated people who take pride in their morality. We believe that the great mistake of these people is to believe that the depraved person should be judged, but that they trust to escape judgment because they are different and before God they are on a higher level. The vast majority think that dictators who committed atrocities should be tried, but that they should escape trial. Dear listener, God will judge man by what he is before His gaze. Do you want to be before God in these conditions? I, for my part, do not want it.
