One oxygen tower every kilometre away, keeps the air pollution away.

“Greed is not a financial issue. It’s a heart issue.” – Andy Stanley

We live in a world full of maniacs whose God is their wants.

The story is about Fareed who was a worker in the energy sector of a developing country. Here Work ethics and professionalism are seen only inside a dictionary.

Fareed had to leave his job followed by the tragedy of his elder brother a few years ago.

The company they were working for used to produce energy using coal which is the largest contributor to Carbon dioxide emission in the atmosphere.

But it was not the concern of anyone, let alone taking care of their workers.

Fareed's elder brother was a coal miner just like him and was in this industry for many years.

However, Fareed was new there but it took him not too long to realize the exploitation of all the workers.

They had to work nonstop for long hours without any holidays most of the time.

Many workers had complained about breathing problems to their employer including Fareed's brother.

They thought it could be asthma. They needed a break from the work but the employer seemed to have no ears for his worker's concerns.

One day a worker collapsed while working and dust coming from coal was everywhere.
When an inquiry was made, it stated that the expired had an asthma history long before working in this sector.

There was no mention of the worker's health complaint, which they made earlier, in the inquiry.

This incident outraged others but they couldn't do anything, hand to mouth they were to leave this job.

Both Fareed and his brother were also poor and continued their job. But Fareed was worried about his brother's health condition whose breathing issues worsened each day.

He approached the owner and requested paid leave and medical insurance for his brother, which were written in the agreement.

But the owner denied saying that he couldn't give any of these things as the company was already in debt. And you clowns come every day with new diseases and excuses to not work.

Dishearted Fareed came back to his brother, unable to do anything.

His brother was diagnosed with Black Lung disease, common in Coal workers, also called Coal worker's pneumoconiosis.

Just another day covered with thick coal dust, his brother also lost his life.

The cases kept on increasing but no compensation was made by the employer who was not only killing humans but also Mother Earth by burning fossil fuels.

Workers were just asking for exclusive protections and health care facilities.

But for the owners of the energy sector:

There is no end to luxuries and so to their Greed

Fareed along with other workers decided to file a case against the company for exploitation.

They were welcomed with the police's warm gestures(violence) when they tried to fight against the industrial mafia.

They threatened to harm their families and locked them all in a cell for one good week.

When their enthusiasm to fight for their rights diminished, they were released to go on their duties again, Fareed was an exception.

He chose not to work for the people having his brother's blood on their hands.

Only if he had money or power, he could fight, he thought one day while sitting in a place surrounded by trees far far away from his former workplace.

That was the moment he questioned why there are fewer trees around industrial areas.

That was the moment he realized that something is more powerful than money,*** Mother nature it is.***

Mother nature can fight these mafias who are making people and this dear Earth difficult to live.

He got excited and decided to make it work for him and started building an Oxygen Tower

To inhale air pollutants and to exhale Oxygen.

It took him more than a year to make his first oxygen tower, which he decided to build in a jungle near an industrial area.

It was just for experimentation. His aim behind it was to:

  • reduce carbon dioxide emission in the atmosphere, which is causing global warming.
  • reduce other hazardous gas emissions from other industries that cause breathing and lung diseases.

He reached people who witnessed their loved ones dying from lung diseases due to air pollutants coming from these industries.

They agreed to volunteer and build oxygen towers near industrial areas.

Their motive was to build atleast one oxygen tower near one industry to neutralise their negative affects.

They were not only serving humanity but this earth too.

He remembered how mother nature flourished a few years back during the lockdown, thanks to COVID-19.

Lush green Trees were grown to their fullest.

The sky was bright blue during the daytime and nights were full of stars, which is a rare sight to watch now.

It all happened because there were no vehicles on the roads and industries were shut down.

No one could dare make this happen but nature.

With every economic downfall, mother nature thrives again.as dhruv rathee said

I suppose we need to have weekly or monthly lockdowns now and then, Fareed thought.

He whispered to himself with teary eyes:

I couldn't save you brother but I hope these oxygen towers will not make any humans die of Air pollution, this is all your poor brother can do, and I hope it will suffice in the end

@aminasafdar
Thank you for inviting me, I have already sent my entry, your story is an example of love and dedication towards the environment and on the other hand the negligence of the mine owner towards the environment. It is the duty of the owners to take care of the health of the workers and there are strict government rules for this.

Thank you.

and there are strict government rules for this.

Indeed there are, unfortunately, not in every country they are followed by. Or i must say there are loop holes for every mafia in every country.

Thank you Surya for taking a moment to give your feedback.

OK dear @aminasafdar
I know that those who do this ignore the rules, or they break them by colluding with the officials.

yar this is a touchy story. I feel the pain when someone is going to die and you have nothing to do. Remember? In the Nazim jokhyo case, the situation was different but mafia exploitation was the same. The idea of building an oxygen tower is incredible. In ongoing situation, we need it badly. But I want to tell you something. I was reading Mubashir Zadi's blog and he said, according to reports, this is fossil fuel consumption which pollutes our environment. trees are important, but this can do nothing in this case. We restore the environment only by elimination of fossil fuel. Do you believe in this? And Dhruv rather, such a gem he is.

We restore the environment only by elimination of fossil fuel.

Yes i know, but pay close attention to fareed's condition here. He is poor, hopeless, and above all jobless now. He did what he could do in his capacity like any layman.

The condition of global warming and climate change can only be changed by government and world leaders. It's their duty to discourage fossil fuel consumption by not giving subsidies and implementing heavy taxes on coal, oil, and gas.

Solar energy should be considered in every sector now.

Remember? In the Nazim jokhyo case, the situation was different but mafia exploitation was the same.

I don't know about this case, please tell me more.

The only mafia i know right now is vincenzo, and i am inspired by him, how he is fighting against a corrupt company who is making addictive pain killers and experimenting this drug on their own workers.
And they are developing liver diseases and when they tried to report this case, they made them silence and i don't need to mention what type of silence. :(

Nazim jokhyo belong to Sindh. Some Vadaras invite royal Arabs to Sikar. They hunt on endangered species of birds.Nazim raised his voice on social media. And one day they called him and killed him. But before going there, he recorded a vedio in which he explained the situation and and exposed his murderers but unfortunately, after a few months, his family signed a sulahnama and forgave them. I remember his last video. That vadara was an MNA 🥲Infect the real mafia is sitting in assembly, like the IPPs....

and vincenzo TV series? K drama😂 I read a few reviews before and they say this a very different from other fazol k dramas... is it?.....

Solar is best way to tackle the problem. Lakin chata kon h k thek ho sab!

That vadara was an MNA 🥲Infect the real mafia is sitting in assembly, like the IPPs....

Yahan insano ko ni pochta koi wo to phir janwar thy...

Now after watching many kdramas, i have come to the conclusion that dirty politics and mafias are everywhere.

If you watch their dramas, you will realise that power politics is the same everywhere.

One thing is different that they are free to high social issues ,however, our govts ban them or black vigo.

and vincenzo TV series?

Yes, I'm already in love with this, after ages, i am seeing a good dramas with excellent humour and handsome cast😉

Yes, I have read his post, I like your post very much, in which you have told about oxygen, if there was no oxygen, man would not be alive, and oxygen is mostly obtained from many plants.

I like your post it was amazing. We all know that oxygen is the only source because of which we breathe. If it is not required we can't live for a second. Your thoughts are amazing dear. I like the way you explained very nicely. Have a very good luck for your next. Keep supporting me too. Have a nice day sister.
