Honoring the Sacred

A Sacred Doorway
In which I forgot to respect
Opening wide portals
For my own delight
To find Demons coming out in the Night.

A Sacred Vortex
The Infinite Matrix of Creation.
My mind knew of it
And tricked my Ego
Into running the show
When really
How much did I know?

Now I must rest in Silence
Though not too long in my hiding place
Soon I will emerge into the world
With a swirl of Darkness’s grace

To touch the Light
And burn,
I think I may understand
But I’m not quite sure if it’s my mind
Tricking me this time again.

I must find balance
I must find grace
I must be understanding
And tell the world I’ve found my place

For love to emerge
We must find it from within.
Don’t delay with the weight
Of all our endless sins.

Just sink into remembrance
Of who we really are
And when hope doesn’t seem near
I promise it’s not very far
