knives and plates

doing this antiment need to balance the motion included a little holding the breath for balance awake so I can put a plate at the end of the knife, without using tools to keep the knife upright, when I put the first time the plate and the knife had fallen but not until broken, after several tries put the plate on the end of his final knife as I want and the result is satisfactory for me.
