Some Things That Just Really Piss You Off! Think Before Donating To A Big Organization!
As most of you all know I am a veteran. I came home from my deployment and had loads of medical problems and I am still and will always be dealing with those problems. To try and get help with those problems I had to e-mail veteran organizations to ask for help and see if they could help me through some hard times in my life.

I always got the same answer "NO" and I just went on with my life. I try not to be a bitter person and try to stay positive in my outlook on many things. There is one thing though that I am really starting to be bitter about and really getting mad about. Is that they keep sending me e-mails wanting me to donate money to help them.
The sad part of donating to many of the veterans organizations is that most of the money is used to pay many of the people that work there and pays the operating expenses. Very little of the money that is donated goes to help veterans. If you look at any charitable organizations you will see that it is the same way with just about all of them.

So before you donate to an organization please do your research on that organization. It would be much better of a group of like-minded people got together and chose a person or a veteran in the community that needs the help and just helped them directly. Just giving you something to think about and hoping you will help a person instead of an organization! Hope everyone has a great day/night.

That would, indeed, be infuriating, to be solicited for donations from the same organization who said, "NO" to you. It is a shame they cannot help those who served. 😟
They do not care if they help or not, they just really want the money because it pays the CEO's in most cases. I replied to the e-mail asking them why should I help you when you would not help me and other veterans I knew. I have got more help from people on Steemit than any veteran organization.
