It was just another day, until I met her, you know, the girl almost every guy wants to meet. Witty, smart, pretty face. The type you give up your old ways for.
Her mind, you see I can not say what I fell in love with first, her mind or her body. For there's is something about her mind, the way she spoke to me, her ability to send shivers down my spine with just words. I couldn't believe it, the more I had her, the more I wanted her.
Days turned to weeks and weeks to months, yes I was in love and hopelessly too.
I think she knew she had me, she loved the effect she had on me, she knew.

I can still remember our first time I saw her, I couldn't look at her, not because I didn't want to, I just couldn't. I was in awe of her.
The way she smiled, a face beautifully carved, her eyes bright and homely.
How lucky I was.
She laughed at my shyness. The way I was vulnerable, I had my way with words but when it came to her, I was speechless.

People say good things come to those who wait; something I had always doubted but I am beginning to wonder. What if they meant great things come to those who wait. There are events that one never forgets and this is definitely one of such events for truly, it was beautiful; so I thought.
But one thing is true, somethings never leave a man unchanged.
