BINJAI fruit kalimantan ( my job)

hi Steemians ..
how are you guys today?
my job this time delivering goods to pelaeihari city.
On my way to Pelajarari city I saw a kiosk selling a variety of fruits.
I stopped and bought some fruit for my wife at home.
many kinds of fruit and this is:


Mango fruit with a pungent smell and sweet taste can only be found in wild yard and forest in Kalimantan.

Other names of fruit belonging to this genus Mangifera is kemang, binglu, or beluno. Plant-shaped binjai tree with a plant height can reach 30-40 meters. The trunk is straight, so the wood is often used for furniture. Habitatnya in well drained soil with an altitude between 30-400 m above sea level, with high rainfall.

The shape of leaf binjai oval, pointed leaf tip, flat leaf edge, leaf length 16-19 cm, leaf width 7-9 cm, leaf stem length 2.5-4 cm with the base swell and dark green leaf color. Binjai has a thicker leaf when compared with other types of mangoes.

Binjai flowers are small and colored slightly yellow brown. Binjai flowering in November-December and bears fruit in February. Plants that are resistant to this disease have not been widely cultivated intensively. However, in its development, binjai began to be cultivated in Bali, Philippines, and Thailand.

Binjai fruit consists of two types, namely sweet binjai and binjai sour. Smaller sized binjai with yellow-green fruit peel. While sour binjai larger size with yellow fruit skin. Binjai fruit from South Kalimantan (Kotabaru regency) there is a sweeter than other binjai. There is also a large binjai so called binjai "guitar" (Banjar). Named the guitar because its size is like a liter. The aroma is distinctive and does not sting, but the flesh is rough fibrous.

The results of research conducted Antarlina, Izzuddin Noor, and Sudirman Umar, from Agricultural Research Institute of Rawa (Balittra), Agricultural Research Agency, Ministry of Agriculture said, the chemical composition of binjai fruit mostly dominated by water as much as 78.52 - 86.5 percent. Followed by 2.15 percent sugar, 20.36 mg KOH / g, vitamin A 241,18 IU, vitamin C 310,89 mg / 100g. Mineral content of calcium and phosphorus is also high. Fruit protein content binjai 1 percent.
