What is being shown here is the reality of almost 60% of the world population (if not in worst working/living conditions such as these) who would otherwise carry on their lives under normal circumstances, with little chances to change their way of life to the better.
even though the reward is small by Steemit's measure, the current amount ($ 12.45 at the time of writing) is immense for @amat i am VERY SURE. This post reward (after curation deduction) may feed his whole family for the next 2 days if not THE WHOLE WEEK. I know with that amount i can have myself a very very lavish dinner and i recognize that my standards of living is much higher than @amat. As i am drone pilot by profession.
What is being implied here is NOT the "sad reality" of someone poor.
@amat, keep up with the good work, post better post (even by improvement of 1% a day), engage more, spend more time here... I hope by good fortune and your dedication one day Steemit can change your life 180 degree.
