I’ve been practicing tarot privately for about 15 years but I'm finally ready to get out there and help others with my cards!
I know readings can change mindsets and bring true solutions to many. Tarot readings are a wonderful way to connect to your inner self and learn where you can improve.

A Bit About My Deck

My deck The Fairy Ring, (available here: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/fairy-ring-oracle/) is based in Celtic myths and legends.

As with the traditional tarot, my cards have four suits - but are represented by the four seasons. There are four court cards for each season which have a general meaning as well as point to a specific type of real person. Also there are eight festival cards which represent the chief fairy feasts/holidays which have general meanings but can also point to specific times of the year.

As you can tell from the title, it’s a fairy based deck but the unique thing is each card has a real mythology behind it. Some are so familiar, most of us will recognize them - others I’d never heard of before opening this book.

Over the years I’ve noticed the book’s interpretational meaning works in conjunction with the background story of that fairy/being/energy to provide more insight and definition. For example quite a few cards have to do with material gains however depending on which fairy it is it could mean money received through hard work, or luck, maybe a family inheritance.

I’ll provide the book’s interpretation as well as my understanding.

1. Six of Winter | Lhiannan Shee

Book’s Interpretation - Reversed

Lhiannan Shee reversed indicates escaping into daydreams, a fantasy life that ignores the real world, lost opportunities, perhaps an alcohol or drug dependence.

My Thoughts

This card reversed signifies some kind of disconnect from the real world. Perhaps you are spending too much time daydreaming and not enough time focusing on what is in front of you.Have you missed a chance to do something in real life because you were too wrapped up in social media? Be careful with your time management - dreaming and visualizations do play an important role in life but remember we were birthed into a 3D world to be a PART of the world - so get out there and be a part of it!

2. Six of Summer | Aine

Book’s Interpretation - Reversed

Reversed Aine suggests unreal expectations for a relationship, resentments and inequalities, bias, injustice, quarrels, misunderstandings and separation.

My Thoughts

When Aine shows up reversed she is asking us to reevaluate our expectations. Are you feeling resentful or like someone has wronged you? Perhaps you’re going through a divorce or separation of some kind. Are you fighting within your relationship? In Celtic mythology Aine is a fairy who was known to avenge woman who were raped, stolen or wronged in some way - there is a heavy message of fighting for justice or revenge with this card.

3.Queen of Spring | The Sea Mither

Book’s Interpretation

When the Sea Mither appears powerful creative energies surround you, indicating fertility, abundance, stability, partnerships, a happy marriage, perhaps creations of artwork, music or literature. Can also signify the birth of a child. She could also be pointing to a real person: a graceful woman who is intelligent, honest, artistic and generous.

My Thoughts

The Sea Mither is all about creation and fulfillments. She is the Queen of Spring and the return of all growth after winter. She heralds strong relationships and a time of new beginnings. You may be bounding with energy, have inspiring ideas or some kind of creative drive. Those around you will take notice of your abundance, you may be seen as “having it all” at this time. If you’re not feeling the inspiration as of late - the card’s meaning may be pointing you towards a woman in your life like this. Make sure to connect with her - perhaps her artistic energy will rub off on you !

4. Ace of Summer | Fire Drake

Book’s Interpretation - Reversed

The fire drake reversed indicates an unwillingness to act, vacillation, inconsistency, flase starts, or projects conceived but not pursued. This card may also represent problems with the opposite sex.

My Thoughts

Have you been holding yourself back in some way? Perhaps you have a great idea and talk yourself out of it or know you need to start a project but you’re procrastinating? Maybe you’ve started a project but lose motivation and never see it through to the end. These are all simple fixes, if you just take action. The cards want you to know that creative forces are there within you - the fire drake is all about innovation, invention and forging new ideas in the fires of creativity. If you follow through with you plans and dreams you will be rewarded.

5.King of Autumn | King Favarra

Book’s Interpretation - Reversed

King Favarra reversed indicates self indulgence, clandestine love affairs, a lack of self control, selfishness and using others for your own ends. This card can point towards a real person: a moody, languid man who is lecherous, unscrupulous, disloyal and perhaps even violent.

My Thoughts

When this king appears reversed the cards are telling you to look at yourself long and hard in the mirror. Are you feeding into self pity or self destructive behaviors? Could you show some more self control in a certain area? Check the status of the relationships you’re involved in - are you treating your significant other with respect? If this does not resonate with your current situation but the personality description is a dead ringer for someone you know - be mindful of their behavior and keep your energies protected.
