Dances Aragua. 43 years.

Dances Aragua is a group that performs nationalist and contemporary dances, was born in 1975 from the hand of the predecessor of dance now deceased Professor Pablo Prazuela, has been characterized by its constant presentations on national and international stages, contribute to the formation of young people , who begin at the dance school from the age of seven until graduation after six years of apprenticeships.

Nowadays it works as a Danzas Aragua Foundation (Fundara), whose main mission is the formation and development of children, youth and adults for the study of dance, in its different manifestations, they elaborate choreographies that in their repertoire take consider the bases the roots of the Venezuelan people. The classes are taught from Monday to Friday at its headquarters located on Avenida 19 de Abril in Maracay, State of Aragua.

In addition to this they have a professional group that is in charge of representing the group in their different invitations.

I have the virtue that my daughter Mariajose has five years in this school and next year, she will obtain the title of performing dancer, I show them a costume photograph used in the end of year presentation in the third year, on this occasion, they represented the Baile de la Culebra Verde-gallo, a tradition of the Cocorote people of the Yaracuy State of Venezuela.

The past April 29 was the International Day of Dance so I take this opportunity to congratulate the dancers of Venezuela and the World, especially the members of Danzas Aragua, Verlos on stage is the best.
