Paros is one of the islands of Greece in the Aegean Sea. The island was known in ancient times for its fine white marble. Now the island of Paros is a famous tourist destination. The city of Parikia is one of the most popular places on the island. My friend sent me these picturesque photos of Parikia. I am happy to share with you beautiful sunsets and seascapes of the Aegean Sea.

      I do love Greece. I have a link to the Greek mainland through my grandmother on my mother's side of the family. I have them to thank for my large Greek style nose!

      I've only visited the Island of Kos - I've been 3 or 4 times as I fell in love with it. Hope to explore a little more in the not too distant future.
