I know it isn't a big deal for many but it is for me.

First, if she's a lot older than I am, it might be visible in her facial expression. Imagine people thinking your wife is your older sister. Creepy.

Secondly, she's always going to defer to you, even when she needs to speak up. Why? She would be make sure she doesn't let the age difference get in between. In times when she's supposed to scold you, she might check herself less she gives the impression that she's using her age against you. I don't want that. I want a wife that would fully express herself.
