Travel: Washington DC

Of course, another stop on our east coast road trip had to be the capital city of the United States, Washington DC.
This is our first time here in the DC and it was quite the experience. There are so many monuments to visit and see...but what's really cool about the whole thing is that they are pretty much within walking distance of each other so you can see quite a bit in even a half day of travel.

I did go to Washington DC, it was not rainy, though. So much history in DC. I think there are lots of foreigners because it is one of the main places that people from abroad want to visit.

Did you notice all the Roman and Greek influence? Very interesting to me...makes ya wonder what we were truly founded on...
