What is a fractal?
fractals are generally mathematical structures that have some form of recursive scaling that can be seen using special tools for zooming into specific areas of the original large scale image, where the pattern either repeats or continues to cycle through it's variations depending on the offset of where you are zooming. Basically, fractals are visualizations of math/logic, and depending on what is used to create them the resulting image can vary greatly.
sadly, 99% of fractals are created by people that do not entirely understand them.
I should note however, this art is not a fractal,
it's made using a completely different process than simple fractal software.

I propose to share some fractals in nature and compare them to your art .. it gives prospective to whom who doesn't know fractals.
