Weiss Ratings has released cryptocurrency ratings for Jan 2018. Document was available for few minutes before it was taken down and now requires paid subscription.

Top 5 crypto currencies by market capital have following ratings:

Bitcoin : C+
Ethereum : B
Ripple : C
Bitcoin Cash : C-
Cardano : B-
Litecoin : C+

A = excellent, B = good, C = fair, D = weak, E = very weak

    What are these ratings based on? Is there a criteria listed anywhere? At the moment it seems extremely subjective. Nothing worthy of an A? There should be atleast 1 or 2 coins to set a relative standard. Not a fan of this rating system as it stands today.
