ITR filing date extended by Indian income tax dept. So be relax now but file before due date.

This news is very useful for those who are sruggling for ITR filing in India. friends, Please feel relaxed as income tax department has extended last date from 31 July to 31 Aug 2018. So now you have 1 month to finish your tax filing but its advisable to finish it by mid of Aug'18 month.

As per the recent update by tax dept, this year ITR filing has been doubled and now reached almost 3 crore. Tax department is working very hard this year to process returns at soonest possible and approx 60% of the online filled applications have already been processed by department. Refund cases have been increased this year by more than 81 percent and refund amount paid to applicants almost 35 percent amounting 77,700 crore INR.

Govt has improved their system this year and the new system helped govt and users as well for seamless return filing. Govt is expecting an increase in filing by individuals and working to add 1.25 crore new tax payers in this year 2018. Tax Department is working rigorously post demonetization for correct tax payment and to attract more tax payers in their system.

So guys, please correct tax and do filing on time. Its a contribution towards country's development.
