Temple Wat Srinagarindravararam
The largest Buddhist Thai temple in Switzerland is located in the municipality of Gretzenbach, the temple Wat Srinagarin was supported by the Thai royal house.
A "Wat" is a Thai Buddhist temple, this one in the picture has the same architecture as a Wat in Thailand. In the temple area is also the house of the monks.
The Temple Wat Sringarindra was named after the revered mother of the Thai King, IKH Princess Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Boromarajjonnani.
Buddhist monks here try to live according to Buddha's teachings and in this way create a more beautiful world.
