HUJAN DAN ANGIN KENCANG MENGAKIBATKAN ROBOHNYA RUMAH WARGA DI ACEH UTARA

Dear Steemians,

Pergantian musim dari musim kemarau berubah ke musim hujan
di Aceh Utara, biasanya perubahan pergantian musim tersebut ditandai dengan munculnya angin kencang, puting beliung, ombak besar di laut dan petir besar. Baru- baru ini beberapa hari yang lalu, salah satu kecamatan di Aceh Utara mengalami
mengalami hal tersebut. Datangnya angin kencang dan hujan lebat telah mengakibatkan beberapa kerusakan
rumah warga.

Musibah yang menimpa rumah warga tersebut menurut informasi yang dapat dipercaya bahwa tidak ada korban jiwa dalam bencana alam tersebut. Meskipun dalam peristiwa robohnya rumah salah satu milik warga tersebut, rumahnya terbuat dari dinding papan dan beratap daun rumbiya, yang diperkirakan kerugian warga ditaksir jutaan rupiah. Menurut pengamatan kami pada hari kejadian hujan deras yang disertai angin kencang dan merobohkan rumah warga merupakan hujan lokal dan sebahagian kecil terjadi di seluruh wilayah Aceh Utara.

Letak rumah berdinding kayu milik warga tersebut berlokasi di pinggir tanah kebun milik warga masyarakat di pedalaman Gampong. Hujan serta angin kencang di daerah pedalaman Aceh Utara tersebut saja, sementara
di Kota Lhokseumawe hanya hujan kecil - kecil saja.

Berkaitan dengan fenomena alam yang tetkait dengan iklim dan cuaca, masyarakat hendaknya untuk selalu waspada dan siap siaga terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya ancaman banjir, banjir bandang, tanah longsor, angin kencang, ombak besar, puting beliung dan petir. Masyarakat hendaknya selalu dapat memantau prakiraan cuaca maupun informasi
kewaspadaan cuaca.
