My mom taught us kids using books, tapes. We also were active in the Home Schooling Club in our city, Forest Grove. Other families did home teaching. And one family taught a bunch of kids in our city. They would drop their kids at her house. We were able to have a community of homeschoolers. We went out and did things sometimes. Like, we went to Skate World. We had field trips to places like factories and pizza joints to see and learn how things work. We went to parks and had picnics and played games. Tons of great books and videos and people out there.
