Mayon Volcano is located at Albay, Bicol, Philippines. It is beautiful volcano, perfectly cone-shaped surrounded with landscape and was declared as a National park. It's last eruption was last September 18, 2014 and is now acting up again. January 12, the volcano shows unrest. Now, hazardous eruption is possible within weeks. Alert level 3 is up within the areas near it and evacuations are on. There are already more or less 150 rock fall event that is recorded and 2 volcanic earthquakes. There is an ongoing eruption but it is not explosive. We can see lava flowing at the upper slopes of the volcano. It is advisable for everyone near it to prepare for masks, handkerchief or anything that they could use to cover their nose to avoid inhalation of fine ashes.
