Today, I am back with another reason why Steem is the best. It is simple, but it is pertinent. So, let's get to it!

On those bear market, blood on the street days, when there appears to be no good investment... there is steem. Everything has gone down and each coin seems equally useless as we value most cryptocurrencies for their store of value. Steem is another beast altogether.

Steem has value in that we are here, reading, writing, sharing, playing etc. Sure, the token has a value that fluctuates with the rest of them. Long term, I feel good to be invested in a blockchain that is being used everyday, by a lot of people, for real world purposes. This is not speculation. I am writing a post that you are reading. This is a real use case and there is real value in that. Ignore the ticker, it is broken along with a whole bunch of people who think that bitcoin and bitcoin alternatives are all about making money. When that fad grows old and we realize that we hold the keys to our own liberation, then we are getting somewhere.

Until then, be happy to be on steem and know that we can do better than trying to increase our fiat holdings.
