So Inga decided to take me to yoga up the shard. If you don’t know shard it’s one of the tallest building in london and Europe I believe. So it was one of many birthday surprises that she has planned for me :) I didn’t know we are going to do yoga , she just told me to wear comfortable clothes and gym stuff. Since I’ve been obsessed with gym last few months I had an idea that it will be something sport related.
The night before I stayed at ivars and I woke up a bit late in the morning heheh! So we had s quick breakfast and I knew I wouldn’t make it on time to meet @ingaaa so I grabbed an Uber which promised to deliver me there 15 min late. The tube said I would be 20 min. Overall Uber was driving fast but I was still twenty min late. And I paid 17 pounds for the ride which is nearly 40$! Not great but hey.
When I arrived there was a complex security procedure I had to go through but we made it on time! It seemed that most people were late lol and I realised that we are doing yoga. We went to the 32 floor and it was incredible. The views are so so stunning and totally worth the visit and doing something relaxing like yoga with a view is pretty cool.
It was quite a challenging session, a lot of deep stretches and breathing. I definitely felt relaxed after the session and me and Inga had a great time. Really think it’s worth doing something like this once at least if you are in london! And of course if you enjoy yoga. I actually want to make a post about yoga as I’ve only started practising again recently about a month ago and I’m seeing benefits and progress in my body and mind. Are you practising yoga? How long for and what benefits did you get? I want to hear from you!
Apart from that , the teacher seemed to be knowledgeable and it was mainly girls and women in the room! I want to thank my little sister @ingaaa for being such a sweetie and planning so many surprises for me for my birthday. It’s almost like my birthday is never ending!! Hehehe there is part two.... my sister didn’t stop just at yoga surprise, we went somewhere else after that. Stay tuned for the second part soon!
I love surprises, LOL ! everyone does. I have never done yoga but my dad always ask me to do yoga with him and say it is very beneficial for our health and body.
I was just making my plans to do that but in this busy Steemit life i was just forget about it. Your post works like a reminder to me.

I returned to practising yoga, after a break of many years, over a year ago.
Sadly, I have knee problems so had to stop doing the more energetic classes.
Now I just got to yin yoga classes once a week which I love. Yin yoga reaches the parts other yoga doesn't reach and it's very mindful. A lot of people find it really hard because the poses are help for 5 minutes and they find it uncomfortable mentally.
I didn't know you could do yoga in the Shard. Is it in the hotel.
Yea it is! Oh wow yeah holding for long time is hard, I’m not patient enough yet but practising does help! I think I never understood yoga before and thought it was More of a pretentious thing but then I realised it helped my mind and clear my head. I’m

Happy birthday;) For your question I was interested with yoga 4 years ago. I tried to do it actually it came to me so hard ;) Yeah the feeling after doing yoga is so relaxing but I used to feel so tired so I quit it. Now I am doing Plates. I am successful on that.
Oh really? Yeah I think it takes really long time to enjoy it, when I first tried it , I found it really boring actually and not patient enough. Now I see why breathing correctly slows your mind down and relaxes you! I have to give Pilates a go! It’s been a while! Thank you for sharing your experience!
That's an really awesome gift by your sister because Yoga is a magical way to keep our whole body fit and fine and also give us more flexibility as compared to gyming,
It's really good to see the view on the 32th floor and doing yoga there is an amazing experience,

Birthdays should always be celebrated as much as possible! It's amazing that Inga was able to give you this yoga experience. I have been trying to get back into the practice of yoga but I have not made it a priority. I need to. The views in your photos are breathtaking!
