Lithuanian Potato-Mushroom Dumplings are out of this world. Try a taste of this Baltic state's cuisine with these zeppelin-shaped dumplings, filled with mushrooms served with crispy bacon and onions.
Lithuanian Potato-Meat Dumplings are known as zeppelins - cepelinai - because of their shape. These are hearty affairs that take some time to make but are well worth the effort.
Ingredients
2 kg of potatoes
3 onions
600 gr of mushrooms
1 egg
1 garlic clove
fresh greens
sour cream
salt & pepper
bacon/pancetta ( optional)
