BLUEBERRY MUFFINS RECIPE

These are the best blueberry muffins ever. This blueberry muffins recipe couldn't be easier to make with this super simple recipe that makes perfect muffins every time and ready in only 4 steps. A real favourite with both grown-ups and kids, these easy blueberry muffins are tasty, ready in a few simple steps and so moreish you'll have to keep making new batches! 

This recipe makes 12 regular sized muffins and will take around 45 mins to prepare and cook them. This classic recipe is perfect for beginners or if you're trying to teach the kids how to cook. Once you've mastered this simple recipe you could try swapping the blueberries for other berries instead like raspberries, strawberries or blackberries. Blueberry muffins that are ready in 5 steps - perfect!



Ingredients
110 gr of plain flour
110 gr of butter
100 gr of caster sugar
2 eggs
1½ tsp baking powder
125 gr of blueberries, or equivalent in frozen blueberries


Directions 
Step 1 : Cream the butter and sugar together then slowly add the eggs, mix for three minutes. 
Step 2: Add the flour and baking powder, stir to combine.
Step 3: Place a spoonful of muffin mixture into each muffin case, filling each to just over half way. Stud each muffin with about eight blueberries.
Step 4: Bake in an oven set at 200C/400F for 20 minutes, or until golden on top. Serve with icing sugar.

Ok, for those that need ounces instead of grams.

4 ounces white flour
4 ounces butter
3.5 ounces caster sugar (superfine sugar)
2 eggs
1.5 tsp baking powder
4.5 ounces berries

I mean no offense, but not everyone can work with grams.

Tip: In baking, things should be weighed instead of measured out.

hahha yeahh thats why you use weights, its the most accurate one, get a scale and weight in grams, they only use grams in professional kitchen in bakery! but your comment will be helpful for others who work in ounces. :)

Ahhhh....How wonderful. It is Blueberry season here in Canada. I certainly can tell you must be from Europe, as your recipe is in grams and what is Castor sugar? LOL Once I get a translation from grams to millimeters and cups, I shall attempt this recipe. My 18 year old daughter works at a Blueberry Ranch so I have plenty of fresh Berries. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Upvoted and now following.
