Achievement 2 @allan.fakeer Task : Basic Security on Steem

Hi! I hope everyone is fine. This is achievement 2 post. In this post we will understand the basic security of our steem keys or account.

Question 1:
Have you retrieve all your Keys on Steemit?

We can recover all our passwords in case we have an Owner key. If we have lost our owner key then we can never recover all our passwords.

What do you know about Steem keys?

All steem keys are important. We will discuss one by one.

Posting Keys

With the help of posting key we perform many activities in our account. If we want to post from our account, want to comment or edit our post, we use posting key. Also, posting is used if we want to reset someone's post or log in to our account.

Active Key

Active key is used to perform less sensitive and important tasks. For example, if we want to transfer our funds or our power down or up, then active key is used if we want to transfer our funds Active key is used if you want to convert to steem or change your profile picture or name or place your order in the market.

Owner Key

Inside our account is rarely used because it is used only when it is needed and it requires a lot of work. We use it only when we want to change our account passwords. If so, the owner is used and we keep it in a good way because if the owner is lost, account recovery becomes very difficult.

Memo Key

We use memo keys to transfer our funds to another exchange or to receive funds.

Question 3:
How Do You Plan to keep your Master password?
I use email to secure my master password. I first email my master password myself and then I use Google Drive to save it. If electronic media fails or Google Drive crashes, I write down and save my master password to avoid it. Here's how I keep my master password safe.

Question 4:
Do you know how to Transfer Steem to another Steem User Account?

I know a complete procedure for how to transfer this Steam token to another account.

First click on wallet and then click on steem dropdown. Then you see the Transfer option. Click on it.

Then enter the other user account name and then enter the amount of steem you want to transfer.
And click Next.

As we can see that it required Active keys to transfer steem.
Enter you Active key and Finally click Ok.

In this way we can transfer our steem to other user account.

Question 5:
Do you know how to Power Up with Steem.

Yes I know the process of powering up. In the following figures i will show you how to power up.

First, click on wallet. Then click on the Power Up option.

Next enter the amount of steem that you want to power up. I enter 30 steem.
Then click on Power Up button.

Then it required Active Key for execution of power Up processe.
Enter key and click on Sign Up button.

Then finally Click on OK. It will increase your Steem Power.

In this way we can see how to do power up process of our account.
