STEEMIT UYO DECEMBER MEETUP 2017

Through out this week, i have been anticipating this meet up; it finally came and i don't regret clearing my schedule to attend. My birthday was belated but i still felt this urge in me to celebrate it with my steemit family; and i made my very own steemit cake

So while we were waiting for the bosses, @ejemai and @tojukaka, our very own boss @samstickkz had something for us. It was more like a quiz because he would ask questions and reward accurate or almost accurate answers. I go to learn a few things i didn't know especially about the Steemit blockchain.

Also in attendance was the boss himself @samstickzz, @xpressng, @annieben, @datibomchic, @giftessiet, @bobredhood, @ungest, @vheobong and so many other amazing personalities too many to mention..
Then @ejemai and @tojukaka arrived and i was so excited. we had a session where newbies got to ask the many questions they had and they all got answer. I got to listen to tojukaka's newbie story and i felt encouraged.

@ejemai's speech about having each other's back on steemit really got my atention; before this time i had never viewed the community in that way before. Really learnt a lot from them.

For me this meetup was a splufic way to end the year. with what i heard today, i'll start making preparations to be a better steemain in 2018, and you should too.
