Most foreigners, if they have a drop of 'wanderlust' in their veins, would like to come and visit South Africa.
There are so many reasons why people like our country. The sunny days, the coastlines, our cities, parks and nature reserves and then also the big 5.

Our country's name tells you exactly were you will find it - in the South of the continent Africa.
In this beautiful country of us you will find magnificent mountains like the Drakensberg mountain range and Table mountain that looks out over the sea and where the warm water of the Indian Ocean and the icy water of the Atlantic ocean meet.
There are so many heritage sites to see, well known people that live or lived here for which you can learn more about their history and amazing nature to enjoy. Read more about our heritage sites here.
And then there are the people. Our wonderful rainbow nation. Like the story of the rainbow where you will find gold at the end of it, we have the rainbow nation and here you will find 'gold' in many forms. Our people are friendly and warm and you will fit in where ever you go.
Our climate is a source of amusement. You will have to travel very far to find another place where you can experience all four seasons in one day, where you have mild winters, some places with snow in winter time, sunny summers and a wonderful spring. If you are a South African and you want to travel through the country, we all know that you better pack in a short, long pants and a jersey and a raincoat, no matter in which season you travel.
The weather may be up and down and some times unpredictable, but in South Africa we still have more sunny days than what some countries will have in a year.
Do do underestimate the cuisine. Our food is like our people - a fascinating mixture of flavours and tastes and textures.
