Rules
Each song must have a maximum 3 minutes in length. Due to the short break between the songs, there is not enough time to wire the instruments, hence they are allowed to have a backing tape with no voice on it. The singing must be done live.
The winner is selected by a positional voting system. Currently, each country awards two sets of points to their 10 favorite songs: one from their professional jury and one from televoting. The notes are from 12, 10, 8-1 points. One important aspect is that they cannot vote for their own country.
