How can blockchain help healthcare?

Blockchain ensures that health records cannot be altered or tampered with once they are recorded. By decentralization data storage, blockchain reduces the risk of data breaches compared to centralized databases. Blockchain facilitates the seamless sharing of medical records across different healthcare providers and system. Patient can have more control over their medical records. Blockchain can track pharmaceutical from manufacturer to the patient, reducing the risk of counterfeit drugs entering the supply chain. These are self executing contract with the terms directly written into code. While blockchain offers many benefits to healthcare, there are challenges to it's adoption like scalability, Regulatory compliance, interoperability, Cost and Complexity.
