Flower pots, bugs and a paddling pool

The first of the lillies I planted with my daughter last year has started to flower again. The other pot isn't doing so well though.

We had got some horrid bug that is eating them and now started on the flower buds. In under a week they've devastated the plants. I don't like to use pesticides in the garden so will have to hope the other plants in the pot arn't so tasty as they continue to grow.

I'm now waiting for another of the patio plants to come into flower and this year it looks like it will be the best show it's done. In the background is our grape vine that is going mad and will need cutting back before it takes over the patio.

With the hot weather set to continue it's time to get the pool out for the girls so they can cool down once they get home from school.
