FRUIT THAT COMBAT THE HAMBRUNA

in #busy8 years ago
Hello steemians friends, I want to talk to you in today's post about a fruit whose consumption is killing hunger in Venezuela which is going through a humanitarian crisis, this fruit is MANGO.

FUENTE

Venezuela is a beautiful land with the name of a woman where a superior force blesses her with its fertile land where an exquisite fruit, the mango, thrives.
The mango, king of fruits! Making history of mango, in the case of Simón Bolívar, some very serious and respected researchers, affirm that it never consumed it because they refer their arrival date to Venezuela in 1830 (the year in which the Liberator died), but, there was a text published in a national newspaper entitled "Sancinenea, mango introducer in Guyana", which accurately states the arrival of mango in Venezuela through Angostura (Guiana) at the end of the eighteenth century, specifying that this was produced on the island of Ceylon (Sehilán) in India where they are from. The planting technique had been entrusted by the Hindus who came to Cayenne (French Guiana) to whom the seeds that were sown in Angostura (Venezuelan Guiana) were purchased.
The sacred mantle that covers Venezuela in this food crisis touches many places of the country with the appearance of mango season. This fruit arrives just at the most critical moment to give away its delicacy and to calm the hunger of a large population who see in it their salvation from these difficult days. There is no corner of our country where this sacred food ceases to be present as a morning rug gift to be consumed with all its healthy properties, hence many expressions of our grandparents imputed to the mango as: "hold your handle short" (regarding love to a girl or something easy to achieve), "grab the pan by the handle" (put character and strength to an action or decision), "a mango shell" (when they put a trap to something apparently easy to discover weaknesses or failures ), the "vivapepism" or the so-called viva la pepa, that is, cool and lazy as a metaphor for a peeled peeled mango and even the big heads that nickname them: ¡e emango!
As a comparative reference of gender in its wide variety, the large and juicy are called manga (female) and the little ones like the lint or snack are called mango (male). Although there are coleo sleeves, a corridor that have nothing to do with the fruit because they are used for a badly called sport of cruel violence to animals. In the present the young people are delighted with the "mango asquerosito" (manipulated without hygienic norms) that they acquire in a sachet with julienne cuts and seasoned with salt, vinegar and touches of cubes, marinades or any condiment. A variety of things can be done with this fruit such as: juices, compotes, jelly, desserts, salads and even delicious fried slices (with the snack), as well as tea leaf is recommended to remove blood clots or "bruises" and internal blows to the body. The mango has an infinite number of properties, it is a fruit rich in acids such as malic and myristic with vitamins A and C, it is antioxidant and anticancer thanks to its vitamins or flavonoids such as quercetin. The mango came from India but it is our tropical fruit par excellence and we should learn to value it more without letting ourselves be tempted by imported and more expensive and inaccessible fruits. It can be said then that the mango is a gift from God, many people of the town see in it their solution of income in these difficult days and others therefore in solidarity they give to their brothers for the abundance with which they are born in their bushes. Even worship we should surrender him for his miraculous presence in our land!
