Now not saying this is what happened but hey the President filed For bankruptcy 6 times. So don't down people or companies until you know everything. I'm not sure who owns the company but it seems like they are non white. What if the are not black? I don't think he is. They see black people in them and they assume.
Let Me check to see who owns #TrueReligion. Ok, it's John Ermatinger. He is definitely not black. Now if you knew he made those jeans, would you flock to buy them?
They only treat non whites like that. Since they see black people in them, they automatically associate it with black people. The average young black child that wants the expensive jeans is only wearing them for status. I'm not sure if they know who made what and frankly I don't think they care.
Do you know what bankruptcy is? Do you know the different chapters and how they work? This particular company filed chapter 11 is?

Do we really support black owned brands? I do think that most designer close are too expensive but it is made for the designer market, as was True Religion. It just happened to be a hit with the black community. Just like when the BBB family put out the 500$ shoes people gave them flack but most black people rap about Gucci, Fendi, Prada & Red Bottoms etc. We are so quick to give our earnings to those who are descendants of our oppression, but hate on people that look like you trying to do the same or better. Don't be #CrabsinaBucket
