What do you do on a normal Sunday?

How are you doing on such a nice day? At least in this spot of the earth the day was beautiful. Are you enjoying your sundays? Or better said, what do you do on a Sunday?
I try to spend as much time as possible with my wife because I travel a lot during the week. Weekend is the time for family and friends. I would say it is not the best offer to swap the 5 days for the 2 days on the weekend. It would be better if it were reversed but these are the rules of the game and I have to obey them now.
So, when I'm home, we mostly go out. Of course there are the pijamas days from time to time. We were out to enjoy the fresh snow today. It was not the classic sunny day because the sky was gray. It was just nice because of the snow. I like the trees covered with snow, especially new snow. It has snowed a lot over the night and I like that. Winter and snow just go together, like Christmas with snow.

wie geht es euch an so einem schönen Tag? Wenigstens auf diesem Fleck der Erde war der Tag schön. Geniest ihr eure Sonntage? Oder besser gefragt, was macht ihr an einem Sonntag?
Ich versuche so viel wie möglich Zeit mir meiner Frau zu verbringen weil ich unter der Woche viel unterwegs bin. Wochenende ist die Zeit für Familie und Freunde. Ich würde sagen es ist nicht das fairste Deal die 5 Tage gegen die 2 Tage zu tauschen. Besser würde es umgekehrt sein aber das sind die Spielregeln und die muss ich jetzt folgen.
So, wenn ich zuhause bin, gehen wir meistens irgendwo raus. Klar gibt es ab und zu die Pyjama Tage. Wir waren heute spazieren um das Neuschnee zu genießen. Es war nicht das klassische sonnige Tag weil der Himmel war grau. Es war einfach nur schön wegen dem Schnee. Ich mag die Bäume von Schnee bedeckt, insbesondere von neuem Schnee. Es hat über die Nacht viel geschneit und das finde ich gut. Winter und Schnee passen einfach zusammen, wie Weihnachten mit Schnee.

We are happy, as already mentioned, to live next to a large park, away from any roads with lots of traffic. It is not always quiet, because we also have neighbors who think that a drill produces the best noise. That's just the slightest drawback, otherwise it's very quiet.
It also makes a lot of difference being able of walking through the park. The small stream that flows along the road gives the tranquility a melody.

Wir sind froh, wie schon mal erwähnt, neben einem großen Park zu wohnen, entfernt von irgendwelche Straßen mit viel Verkehr. Es ist nicht immer ruhig, weil wir haben auch Nachbarn die denken das eine Bohrmaschine das beste Geräusch erzeugt. Das ist nur das kleinste Nachteil, ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig.
Es macht auch sehr viel aus durch den Park gehen zu können. Das kleine Bach das der Straße entlang fließt gibt der Ruhe eine Melodie.

Well, I must say you are lucky enough to have snow in your area and you go out but it is not the case with me.
I am a University student, so my weekend is spent doing some assignments or resting at my hostel(when I am very lazy) other than that sometimes we go out for food or play some sports or visit our families
On a Sunday I love taking a long walk, and practise mental Silence in the meanwhile as a means of releasing thoughts dragging me into past or future and refocusing my attention back into the only important moment of Now. In doing so, I have more mindfulness towards my immediate surroundings and let go of worries.
Once done, I read a book that allows for additional detachment from distracting thoughts.
Bottom-line at the end of the day: light mind and stronger feeling of presence which naturally leads to more inner Peace and Happiness with life :)

Sonntags ist bei mir wie jeden Tag arbeiten angesagt. Ich habe eigentlich fast nie mal richtig frei, aber ich habe auch so ein Ziel, wie du es schon erwähnt hast:
Ob man das dann wirklich machen wird, ist eine andere Frage. Ich weiß es ehrlich gesagt noch nicht, da ich irgendwie auch gerne arbeite, um etwas Neues zu erschaffen und um mich weiterzuentwickeln. Aber ein bisschen weniger bestimmt :)

That's so nice you have the house close to the nature :) on Sundays I normally rest, being lazy, reading a book or gaming, just normal activities that help me relax and recharge my batteries for the next week :D

Den Partner zu geniessen ist sehr wichtig und ich finde auch, dass man lieber 5 Tage mit seinen Liebsten verbringen und nur 2 Tage auswärts sein sollte.

Hmmm. Obviously I'm reading posts on Steemit and commenting. That's what I'm doing in a Sunday.
Die Sonntage sind bei uns auch für die Familie reserviert. Mein Mann arbeitet in der Woche und ich helfe teilweise aus bei uns in der Tauchschule. Sonntags fahren wir immer alle zusammen zum Strand und geniessen ein wenig das Feriengefühl :-). Während der Regenzeit schätzen wir, die zusätzliche Zeit mit der Familie da nicht so viele Touristen hier sind, dafür sind die Sommermonate intensiver. Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir hier in Bali mehr Zeit für die Familie, dies war natürlich auch ein Grund für den Umzug. Sonnige Grüsse
