Some stocks I watch - Amazon
Hi,
some weeks ago, I've started a new challenge, where I present some of the companies that I follow for a buy&hold.
The companies need to fulfill over 70% of my criteria to even land in here.
This are:
- are they going to be around in 25 years
- are they market leaders
- does the company expand or invest in research
- does the company have a solid board
- can the company recover if it is hit by a scandal or recession
- was ROI over 3% in the past 10 years
- shall not be in a communist state
One of the winners of the crisis and of the political elections is Amazon. It is a company that I've been watching for years, but never invested in it.
It is one of the companies that fulfill all my investment criteria. They are market leaders, reinvent themselves new, find new niches and open new way of doing business. Also investing in them was profitable for so many years. I'm still thinking to buy some part of it, even if people tell that it can't grow anymore. I think they can grow as they expand into so many fields.
Amazon is the future of commerce, at least for the next 10 years. It's logistic planing is amazing. Some might argue that workers are paid bad, but here is the fact that nobody is holding to them and they can live whenever they want.
The only thing where I see a potential flaw is where the state and politics might mix in. This is it.
Would you buy it?
