@Nextcolony - thoughts on distribution
Hello,
my journey through @nextcolony's space continues. So far I have been unsuccessful in finding new planets.
I am also aware that it is mathematically very difficult to predict when I will find a planet. It may be that one finds 5 planets in 30 requests, mathematically it is possible.
Psychologically, we as humans, think that our chances have to get bigger with each attempt, which is not really true. There are countless possibilities and others also play along. Every time we start a mission, we start with the chances from the beginning. We always think that this universe is dominated by a binomial distribution. But it's not like that because here we have a theoretical infinite number of variables and each time it starts again from the beginning.
So, do not lose hope, just keep going. And if you do not find anything, you can soon buy planets.

meine Reise durch den Weltraum von @nextcolony geht weiter. Bis jetzt war ich erfolgslos in der Suche nach neuen Planeten.
Mir ist es auch bewusst das es mathematisch sehr schwer vorhersehbar ist wenn ich ein Planet finden werde. Es kann sein dass einer 5 Planeten in 30 Gesuche findet, mathematisch ist es möglich.
Psychologisch, wir als Menschen, denken dassunsere Chancen größer werden müßen mit jedem Versuch, was aber auch nicht so richtig ist. Es gibt unzählig viele Möglichkeiten und andere spielen auch mit. Jedes mal wenn wir eine Mission starten, starten wir mit den Chancen von Anfang an. Wir denken immer dass dieses Universum von einer binomialen Distribution dominiert ist. Es ist aber nicht so, weil wir haben hier eine theoretische unendliche Anzhal an Variabeln und bei jeder Suche es wieder von Anfang startet.
Also, nicht die Hoffnung verlieren, einfach weiter machen. Und wenn ihr nichts findet, könnt ihr demnächst Planeten kaufen.

But I see 3 planets on the image. Aren't they yours?
When I look at "my" galaxy, also two other planets are shown but those are not mine. Isn't that similar for everyone of us?

The negative posts have started coming out now, so it's fairly unlikely we're going to see anyone new join, which means no money coming in means a failed game.
Too many people have had a turgid time with the game like me for it to be a success.
Urgent changes required to make this sustainable. The Steem they've got from initial high hopes (now dashed) won't last long.
Ich hab´ schon 3 Explorer verloren (bei 39 explorations). Ich werde sicher keine Kisten mehr kaufen, wenn das so weiter geht.
