My view on the latest softfork
Hi,
I see a lot of witnesses have rebelled against Justin Sun, or at least are trying to block him temporarily on using his stake on voting witnesses or powering down.
Well for the consensus witnesses this is a no brainer as they can maintain like this the position. Any vote from Justin Suns accounts would kick some of them out, which would be a great financial loss.On the other hand Justin can manipulate the witnesses and consensus easy with his stake.
We run the risk here that this softfork will go into a hardfork which can go into a chain split, which would be the greatest evil as it will bring Steem down.
I'm neutral as I understand the danger but I see also a selfishness from the ones who did it. Most are powering down and are selling Steem and not buying it. Justin at least bought a lot of Steem, I mean 20% of the volume. I would like to see other guys doing this.
I would like to hear Justin on what he has to say on his views of the chain, in a longer chat where he answers questions life. This is about to happen on the 6th of March.
Till then I think we have to be patient. I've heard about different HF in preparation, which only will weaken the chain and the value of it. As there will be a split, one side that left can be dissolved easier.
How do you see it?

I don't care for how it was executed and I think there were risks, but not enough to warrant what happened.
