It's too easy to forget how fortunate we are.
It's just too easy for me to forget how fortunate I am. Whenever I'm feeling like nothing is going the way I would love to, all it takes is for me to simply look around before I realize that I am blessed in more ways than I can imagine.
It's probably nothing to him but I am so glad that I don't have to do his job.
Talk about job security... his job should be quite safe (pun intended)
It takes another person to remind us just how blessed and fortunate we are.

I worked with a woman who's mother told her when she was little: "Go stand in the corner and count your blessings." I remembered that story for years whenever I started to complain about something.
I also found out early that complaining accomplishes nothing except screwing up my mood further.
