Early Childhood Education Teachers in Bireuen Participate in Competency Improvement.

In order to increase the competence of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in designing learning plans and implementing learning that is appropriate to the characteristics of PAUD children.

The Bireuen Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud) through the Personnel Development Division (PTK) is holding activities to increase the competency of PAUD teachers in designing and implementing learning.

The activity for PAUD unit teachers was opened by the Head of the local Education and Culture Office, Muslim, M.Si in the Wisma Bireuen Jaya Bireuen Hall, Thursday (13/6/2024).

In the essence of his direction, Muslim said that this Competency Improvement activity is really needed so that it will give birth to innovations among PAUD teachers themselves.

With this activity, it is hoped that there will be some kind of improvement in the quality of PAUD teachers themselves, especially teachers who directly touch young children, this is very important.

So that children feel comfortable and happy when the teacher accompanies them.

In this activity the participants are given special skills, so they know what children's characters are like.

Of course, children's characters are different, this is a note for PAUD teachers, especially children's psychological problems.

"There are children who are lively, quiet, fussy and have various other behaviors. "This is a note for PAUD teachers to maintain balance so that the children feel comfortable," concluded Muslim.

Previously, Widyaprada PTK Division of the Bireuen Education and Culture Department, Yusmadi, S.Pd., M.Pd reported that the activity was attended by 80 PAUD level teachers from 17 sub-districts in Bireuen Regency for three days, 13-15 June 2024 at Wisma Bireuen Jaya Bireuen.

"During the activity, participants were divided into two classes," he said.

The resource person for this activity consisted of Dr. Sari Rizki. M. PSi. (Head of PAUD Study Program at Almuslim University, Peusangan) and Seni Yuliarni, S.Pd. from (BPMP Aceh Province).

According to Yusmadi, the background to the program is that there are still many PAUD unit teachers who do not yet have a diploma at the PAUD Teacher level.

"Teachers who teach in PAUD units should have a Bachelor's degree in PAUD," explained Widyaprada, PTK Sector of the Bireuen Education and Culture Department.
