Since 1815, 2 kopecks have been minted only at the Yekaterinburg and Suzun Mints.By a decree of the Senate of October 1, 1801, Alexander, "recognizing the steadfastness of the internal dignity of the coin necessary to maintain general trust," confirms the monetary stop established by Pavel on October 3, 1797 for all three metals (for copper - 16 rubles from pood).

The manifesto of August 29, 1810 for copper coins of all denominations of the foot is increased by one and a half times and becomes 24 rubles out of a pood. In the next two decades, only two-kopecks, copecks and money are minted at this rate, designed to eliminate the shortage of a small coin. In the design of coins instead of ring rims on the reverse side is a wreath of laurel and oak branches, as on a silver coin.

To the Ekaterinburg and Suzunsky yards are connected Petersburg and the new one - Izhorskiy, created on the basis of the Admiralty plants in the village of Kolpino (he also prepares mugs for himself and Petersburg). In St. Petersburg coins are printed on the Bolton equipment and have a smooth cylindrical edge; coins of other households are less qualitative.

Obverse: along the edge of the coin there is a rim of dots, in the middle there is a double-headed eagle with raised wings crowned with three crowns, on the chest of the eagle the coat of arms of Moscow, surrounded by a chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called, in the left paw a scepter, in the right power, on the left and right under the tail the initials of the muntsmeister , below year of release.

Reverse: along the edge of the coin there is a rim of dots, in the middle there is an imperial crown, under it is the denomination "2", below it is the inscription "KOPEI", under it the continuation of "KI." To the left is the laurel branch, on the right is an oak tree, at the bottom branches are joined and intertwined with a ribbon, above it the mint designation, above is a straight line.
