The morning cliffs

Where the dark forest ended, the great cliffs emerged. Illuminated by the sun, these ancient giants loomed over every single thing for miles around. They were warm and welcoming - for huge pieces of stone, that is. My heart was beating calmer as I was exiting the forest and leaving all its' dangers behind.
