I Tried to Delegate, and Nearly Locked Myself Out of My Own Account.
As if the crypto crash wasn't brutal enough, I recently tried to learn how to delegate. I did not realize I needed some amount of SP remaining just to use my Steemit account for posting, and delegated everything. This resulted in my brief inability to access most of the functions of my account until I reversed it.
I am no good at this shit. I am almost 35. Apparently this is the age where the knack for learning new technological stuff tapers off. It's all "confused old man accidentally posting shopping lists and recipes to his Facebook wall" from here on out.
Now I have to wait one week before I can try again, during which time my upvotes aren't worth anything. Sorry about that. I hope I can still count on your support until this is fixed. Every time I think shit has gotten as bad as possible, it gets worse. Truly we are all God's children, and he has left us in a hot car with the windows rolled up.

Oh no friend! How terrible, but it will be a week of testing and remembering when you were like me, but a week fast. The important thing is that you did not block yourself.

Haha I am right around that age and I have the same problem sometimes lol.
I think everyone says that the minimum that a person needs to not have problems is 50 sp. I delegated a little to canna-curate because I like what their goal is and I get a modest but still very decent upvote and curation trail on one post per day so it seemed like a win win to me.
Oh my, you should have told me, why delegating almost all your steempower, that ain't advisable you know, at your age, there is nothing bad in learning, trust me, the person who introduced me to Steemit is close to forty and researching every day, presently building a power wall, nerds and geeks like you.
I think it's time you change the description about we commenting on your blog for the purpose of upvote, we stayed, your fans stayed, be grateful for that at least.

How much do you gain from 16k delegates? I can pay about 5,5 steem per day if you delegate me.
It's locked down for 7 days because I messed up, I cannot re-delegate until then.

I don't have enough SP to delegate yet so I really haven't read up on the process either.
