The cojote is a predatory animal that inhabits the vast prairies and dense forests of Northern and Central America. Cojotes usually have slim legs and a tapering snout, while their fur color can range between various shades of brown. They adjust to their natural babitat, and by means of a very comprehensive hunting and feeding habit - cojotes are omnivores that eat meat, plants and carrion - they contribute to biotopes' equilibrium. Cojotes also like to show up in urban areas, where they scavange for food in dustbins or occasionally snitch people's meal when the opportunity arises. Cojotes are biologically compatible with dogs, and even though their reproductive cycles don't coincide they sometimes mate with each other, especially when cojotes stroll into areas where conspecifics are few. A pack of cojotes is normally comprised of all family members, while only rarely unrelated cojotes join forces, for example to hunt larger prey they couldn't vanquish alone. Cojotes have a broad gamut of vocalisations that are highly distinct depending on the circumstances, which can be an alarm, greeting or contact. Eagles, wolves and cougars are their main enemies. In the wild, cojotes become 14 years old on average.

Spiritually light aspects:

The cojote teaches us thinking out of the box and aligning with the Universal order. Humans like to compartmentalise life into a strict order that allows them to hide in an illusory bubble of mental safetiness, yet in truth this Human definition of order is still subjected to a grander Universal order that wants anything but rigid constraints. The cojote encourages us to detach from self-made mental constructs so that we see that overcultivating certain thought patterns won't attract that specific thing but it will only increase our attachment. That which the Human mind considers as the epitome of disorder actually is the highest form of Quantum intelligence which when acknowledged and recognised will allow us to built upon it a life that exceeds anything we could have ever imagined. With a dose of unpredictability the cojote can barely be tamed and enjoys wisely and effectively fooling those who need to learn life lessons by mirroring their own action and behavior yet in a responsible way.

Spiritually dark aspects:

Connecting with the cojote without understanding its energy might evoke chaos in our life that we don't grasp, hence won't be able to handle. Although this very chaos, as always, serves as a deep wake-up call for our Heart, we are not ready yet, which means that we won't only be anxious for a return to the status quo but we might temporarily become further pushed away from seeing the life-changing power that lies in chaos energy. Retrospective memories will be suppressed and the entire past event will be dismissed as nothing but destructive and malicious. Cojote energy can feel rapidly overwhelming if we are uncareful.
