Shopping diary game (Monday; 01/4/24) | Shopping for my nieces birthday

Hello and welcome!!!

Who loves to shop like me? It was a beautiful day and guess what? It was the first day of the week and one beautiful thing is that it was the first day of the month and it was by nieces birthday. So we had a little birthday shopping to do but we had to start the day first.

My day began on a cool note and I had to pray and do my morning rituals , then I proceeded to prepare food to eat as breakfast. I had a breakfast of bread and omelette with a cup of chocolate drink. When I finished, I went to the kitchen and did the dishes.

I had other things to do for the day and I proceeded with them such as working on my podcasts and reading. Later that day I had to leave the house and went for my little shopping spree for my nieces birthday.

My niece is three years old and I went to a popular supermarket known as globus supermarket to check out what I could buy for her as birthday gift. Globus supermarket is located at 69, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Oshodi Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria Along Century Bus Stop. I didn’t have much money on me so I needed to buy something not too expensive and something she would like too.

I went to the children section and was scouting for the best thing to buy. I opted to get her a doll, a yellow beautiful doll with a crown. Then I also saw bubbles and the girl in-charge adviced I should go for the bubbles that children love it. I also bought a pink flute for her too.

I proceeded to the ice cream section and bought parfait for myself. I wanted to give myself a little treat. After all all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I have been craving parfait for a long time and hence am able to eat it. I also saw some eye enticing candies and sweets at the counter.

So I ended up buying the the bubbles, flute and parfait and they cost about #4850 in my local currency which is about 12.125 steem. So I spent a total of about 13 steem for both my transportation to the supermarket and for the things I bought.

I got back to the house and gave the gifts to my niece and just like the lady said , she loved the bubbles so much. I was glad I got her a gift she loved.

I got back to the house that night and I prepared a dinner of beans and ripe plantains and it was very delicious. After eating for the night, I rested and retired for the day.
