Tesla shows off
Damn, so Tesla reveiled thier new truck and roadster! In case you have been disconected from the world entirely, here are some videos to catch up:
I don't really have the need for a car at the moment, but I am intrigued by the comment MKBHD made about leasing a car as a piece of technology. What do you think - are you going to be a Tesla customer anytime soon? Are you already?
Move to iOS?
I am considering to get rid of my One Plus 5 for an old iPhone 7+. The reason is a software called DEVONthink. My dad showed it to me, and it appears to be excellent for managing files and pretty much everything. My dad loves this kind of software and said that was his favorite.
So, I am testing it currently. There is a 150 hour free trail, which is very fair in my opinion. Ideally, you can have the database of your DEVONthink on a cloud and then have all files synced between devices - the kicker: it's only for Apple. Hence, my consideration for switching.
I have an old Nexus 6P laying around as well, so if I sell both - my One Plus 5 (fairly new) and my Nexus 6P (kinda used) - I will get towards the investment of the iPhone.
Computers are really to be used for something.
This rings so true to my. Sure, the One Plus 5 is VERY powerful... 128GB, 8GB RAM, dual camera... (I am not very fond of the camera tbh). But the device just does not fulfill my need to use DEVONthink on my smartphone.
Have you had experience with file managing software like this? Previously, I had used OneNote, and I thought it was great to have the notebooks synced between devices.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
