Will Ethereum fail? Are it's days numbered?

I've been hearing things from people that are saying that Ethereum is going to take the Litecoin route which is skyrocket and then come falling down flat on its ass. I don't know if that is completely true or not, but I think that Ethereum might fail. Based on the rate that it is rising, which is faster than bitcoin...I think that it will grow more expensive and bigger than bitcoin, and then crash. Based on the patterns, I have a gut feeling that I will skyrocket and then crash.

But on the flip side, some other people believe that Eth is going to be like bitcoin...its going to go up and up, have some dips and stay at a certain pattern as well as bitcoin. I think this is also a great possibility as well.

I've also heard about people saying that its days are numbered..which I haven't looked into at all yet, but I think it might be. Because since I hold an opinion that Eth will sky rocket and fall flat on its ass, I think its days might be numbered...I don't know. Let me know what you guys think bellow and upvote this post.
