Walking in Venice for the filming of a music video
Today I will tell you what a wonderful day I spent yesterday.
I have been collaborating for a couple of years with a music producer, who asks me to photograph her artists, while my brother has the task of shooting music videos.
(I am fortunate to have a good relationship with my brothers.
Marco is a videomaker, while Riccardo is an architect like me.
I am the younger brother).
The singer is a young charismatic and cheerful girl, she also has a beautiful voice!
As a place for filming we chose Venice, choosing Venice you are never wrong and offers so many scenarios that the only limit is imagination!
We had incredible luck, it always rained all week, but yesterday there was a sun that seems full spring!
Solved the problem of transport, because yesterday there was a transport strike, we arrived in Venice and we walked to the Venetian streets (a Venetian street is 2 meters wide) among the many tourists.
We filmed the singer in various places in Venice, among the Venetian alleys made of bricks that have a warm and characteristic color.
We went along the streets that line the Canal Grande and we took advantage of some beautiful settings typical of the Venetian squares.
I attended the university in Venice and as an architect I decided to do some shooting at the Bovolo Staircase, a beautiful Renaissance staircase, which not everyone knows because hidden.
The view is incredible ... you walk a few meters in a dimly lit alley and then you remain enraptured in front of a real architectural jewel!
Inspired by oriental architectures, Bovolo staricase was named after "bovolo", the Venetian word for snail, clearly referring to its orginal spiral shape.
Filming was almost over, when a thick fog suddenly rose and the city's appearance changed dramatically from romantic to mysterious, autumnal.
Venice is magical.
Fortunately after half an hour, the fog was gone and we finished shooting!
I share with you a shot of Vanessa, the young singer who had fun with us to walk and sing in this beautiful city that I love!
Let me know if you liked this post. I often go to Venice, I would like to do other posts like this, to show you a little at a time this wonderful city!
Beautiful architecture!
Yes, really! There are other amazing architectures that I will show you with the next posts!
