BANGER OF THE WEEK: The House-Flipping Answer Book

Yes, even though the title is one of the clickbaity-est I've seen in a fortnight, it's still the best out of the sample that I took. That might not be saying much, but it's been a tough choice. The book simply lists the process of enriching oneself through real estate in an iterative process, and answers the top 15-20 questions for each of the subjects in several pages.

The writing is clear and concise with plenty of insights on the trials and tribulations of a professional real estate developer, particularly leaning heavy on the legal and tax side of things, which is a welcome addition. Questions such as "how to I discriminate without going afoul of the fair housing act" show that the book is meant for intermediates.

The answers are sometimes rambling as one would expect, and there is a lot of "it depends" but one never fells that the book leaves one thirsty for an answer that never comes. It's a decent book in a mire of manure, explaining some of the key tenets of the industry without repetition or boring the reader. By default, the BANGER OF THE WEEK.
