Oleander 1.
Oleander or Nerium oleander - flowers, color, sun, clear sky, sea, breeze, holidays, relaxation, an integral part of the landscapes of the Mediterranean holiday destinations ... There are more than forty varieties of oleanders, with simple flowers or not, white, red, yellow or pink, increasingly common on our sunny terraces and balconies, from spring to late autumn. In the places of origin (Mediterranean region) they can reach five meters in height, but potted plants do not exceed two meters. They have narrow, olive or willow-like leaves and flexible shoots that arch under the weight of the flowers grouped in pleasantly fragrant bouquets for some varieties.
The flowers appear from June to October, but the leanest ones can bloom all year round if we supply them with adequate light, water and food. However, for the health and longevity of the plant, a winter rest period is recommended. In a cool, more or less bright room, rarely watered, with not too cold water, the plant will not grow and bloom, but will keep its leaves.
Thanks.
