Dolomites Mountains III

In the afternoon from Canazei we go to Paso Fedaia, on a road that takes us through many beautiful landscapes. Spread valleys with green pastures shrouded in mystery. Paso Fedaia is known for the beauty of the lake of the same name with the panorama of the Marmolada Mountains in the background, the most impressive mountains of the Dolomites. Up on the mountain you can go up with the chairlift, but due to the bad weather it was closed. It had snowed in the mountains, and the Marmolada was dressed in a beautiful snow-white coat.
On the road that passes by the lake, you reach Malga Ciapela, an important tourist center for mountain lovers. Marmolada is the highest peak in the Dolomites and the only remaining glacier in this mountain range. The cable car from Malga Ciapela takes you to the top of Punta Rocca and Punta Penia, the highest peaks of the Dolomites and a suspended viewpoint allows you to look at the most beautiful panorama of the mountains.

Val di Funes, this valley was one of the important objectives of our vacation in the Dolomites. A beautiful valley dotted with three idyllic mountain villages: Tiso, San Pietro and Santa Magdalena. The most beautiful landscape is at the entrance to Santa Magdalena consisting of a church surrounded by mountains, set in the middle of green pastures, a natural spectacle. The beauty of the place does not consist in the grandeur of the church, but in its placement in the middle of nature. Indeed, this landscape is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
Val de Gardena is another impressive valley of the Dolomites where the green color with special natural landscapes predominates. This valley is known for winter tourism, skiing, taking place here many international competitions such as the World Cup of alpine skiing. Here you will find very beautiful wooden handicrafts that are taken all over the world.
